Transmisor Marshall Power Max

PowerMax (US) Intended Use:
THE IDEAL TAIL-MOUNT
In attempting to design the ideal tail-mount, we made the PowerMax lay aerodynamically flat against the tail, with the shortest possible antenna (6 inches) never extending past the deck feathers of most birds. And, it can be left on the bird and turned on with a tap of a magnet just before flight. The PowerMax is not offered as a leg-mount. The ideal arrangement for large birds is a PowerMax on the tail as the primary high-power transmitter with an RT on the leg as the long-life backup.
SHORTEST ANTENNA
Using a tiny based-loaded antenna design, Marshall engineers were able to create a whip antenna that is about the same length as the deck feathers on your bird. Although the ultimate in safety, we´re still able to actually get additional power.
Double again the range of the RT. the PowerMax is the most powerful falconry transmitter you can buy in the U.S. This is the ideal tail-mount for far ranging longwings and those unpredictable first-year hybrids.
AERODYNAMIC SHAPE
Designed to lay flat on the tail, the PowerMax is a far more aerodynamic shape than the RT or any other "round" transmitter design.
THE CONVENIENCE OF A MAGNETIC ON/OFF SWITCH
For the PowerMax to be the next step forward in convenience, we included a magnetic switch that is also simple. Many falconers just leave the transmitter mounted on their bird and then "tap" in on just before the flight. No fight getting the transmitter mounted, no conflicts just before the flight. They only need to remove the transmitter once a month to change the battery.
In addition, the transmitter tells you when it´s time to change the battery by giving you a "double-beep" on every tenth pulse. After accumulating 30 hours of actual run time, the double beep low battery mode begins letting you know that although there´s still three days of continuous use left, it´s time to change the battery.
IN THE FIELD
Shown here on a female peregrine with sharp-tailed grouse, the PowerMax virtually disappears with its short, safe antenna and tail hugging de sign..
SHORT AND SAFE
Shown here is another direct angle illustrating the safety of the PowerMax antenna length.
