Hello falcotinny,
Welcome to this page, here you can learn a lot of this noble sport. There are people from many countries, including Spein, Argentina, Mexico and many others.
I don´t know the laws of that country but maybe someone knows them, and can help you to decide what hawk you could have.
All right...
Bie!!!
Alfonso

Hi
Welcome to this page, tell us more about your country, the regulations up there, teh birds that you can fly, the quarry available, it sounds like a great place to do falconry.
I am from Chile, South America, for me its very interesting to know more about your country and the falconry you practice there.
I would give you one advice about books, as in english they are so many available!!!. Nick Fox, Understanding the bird of prey...
Cheers,
K

Welcome to our forum falcotinny,
In this forum you will find plenty of people with lots of experience in falconry.
Unfortunately for you not all these folks speak english,so you will be left with two choices:Put up with spanish or more properly speaking -castellano-or castillan (if you will) (Not to offend our spaniards falconers who own the languaje); The other choice is to get somebody or get the translation of the topics we discuss here, anyway you can.(Do not disregard them, you will find a lot of help for your doubts in this web site).
Finally, literature of falconry in english is abundant.
Check some librarys, the internet, and some bookstores.
I have all my books in english since I live in California.
Save some money and buy good ones.Go to http://www.falconry.com for some help.
Welcome again and Good luck
Gustavo
